Regenerative Associate

Job Title: Regenerative Associate – Egg Production & Farm Operations

​

Location: Etta Hills Farm – Etta, Mississippi
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Hours)

​

Job Description:

Etta Hills Farm is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our regenerative farm team.

​

This role is primarily focused on egg production (collection, washing, and packaging), while also supporting general farm operations as needed. You will play a key role in ensuring our eggs meet high standards for cleanliness, quality, and consistency.

​

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hands-on work, and values regenerative agriculture.

Hours will vary week to week depending on production needs, typically ranging from 25–40 hours per week.

​

Responsibilities:

Egg Production (Primary Focus)

  • Collect eggs from nest boxes multiple times per day

  • Wash, dry, candle, and package eggs according to farm standards

  • Label and organize cartons for storage and distribution

  • Change and clean nest box mats regularly

  • Monitor egg production and report any issues

  • Maintain a clean and organized egg washing and packing area

​

Farm Operations (Secondary Support)

  • Assist with general farm chores as needed

  • Help maintain clean and organized workspaces

  • Support livestock and infrastructure tasks when required

​

Requirements:

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Able to lift 40–50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Comfortable working around chickens and farm environments

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

​

Previous farm experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

​

Schedule:

  • Part-time position with flexible hours

  • Typically 25–40 hours per week

  • Some weekend work required due to livestock care

​

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience

  • Paid biweekly

​

Preferred Qualities:

  • Interest in regenerative agriculture and local food systems

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Takes initiative and does not need constant supervision

Driver

Job Title: Regenerative Logistics Driver

Location: Etta Hills Farm – Etta, Mississippi
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Hours)

​

Job Description:

Etta Hills Farm is looking for a dependable, responsible individual to join our team as a Logistics Driver.

This role is responsible for the transportation of livestock, pickup of processed products, and delivery of farm products to customers and partners. This is a critical position that directly impacts farm operations, product quality, and customer experience.

This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable with long drives, takes pride in responsibility, and can operate independently while maintaining strong communication.

Hours will vary week to week depending on logistics needs, typically ranging from 20–35 hours per week, with potential to grow.

​

Responsibilities:

Livestock Transport

  • Transport livestock to processing facilities safely and efficiently

  • Load and unload animals following farm protocols

  • Ensure animal welfare during transport

​

Product Pickup & Delivery

  • Pick up processed meat and products from processors

  • Deliver products to:

    • Customers

    • Retail partners

    • Restaurants

  • Maintain product quality and organization during transport

​

Logistics Execution

  • Follow delivery schedules and routes as coordinated by farm logistics

  • Communicate clearly regarding:

    • Departure and arrival times

    • Delays or issues

    • Completed deliveries

​

Vehicle & Equipment

  • Operate:

    • Truck and trailer

    • Box truck / freight truck (if applicable)

  • Perform basic checks before and after trips

  • Keep vehicles clean and organized

​

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Comfortable driving:

    • Truck and trailer

    • Box truck / freight truck

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly

  • Comfortable with long-distance driving (10+ hours at times)

  • Comfortable driving in heavy traffic environments

  • Comfortable working around livestock

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Strong communication skills

​

Schedule:

  • Part-time position with flexible hours

  • Typically 20–35 hours per week

  • Some days may require long driving hours

  • Early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekend work required

​

Compensation:

  • Starting at $14–$16/hour based on experience

  • Paid biweekly

​

Additional benefits may include:

  • Experience hauling trailers or livestock

  • Farm or agricultural background

Students

Regenerative Farming Program

This program focuses on soil health, crop diversity, and regenerative livestock management. Interns gain practical experience in managing farm operations in harmony with nature.

Marketing & Community Outreach

Ideal for those interested in the business side of regenerative farming. Interns learn about marketing strategies, customer engagement, and community education initiatives.

Agricultural Research

For those with a keen interest in agricultural science and research. This program involves working on projects related to soil health and livestock performance in a regenerative farming setup.
